View Full Version : Raptor shock swap????

I've got a friend that just bought a Raptor. It was pretty beat up but he bought it cheap. The front shocks are shot, and he wants to put a new set on. What should he put on it. Stock YFZ shocks? 450r? He will just be trail riding. No racing. He would like to lower it a bit due to ride height. I'm not too familiar with the raptor. He wants to spend no more than $300. Any suggestions?

im selling a stock set of raptor 700 shocks used for a few rides around the house before going to yfz shocks. I'll let em go cheap

YFZ Shocks would suite him Fine.....they'll lower the front a little and has all the adjustment he'll need, im still racin on a set and i like em plenty........You can get a set for anywhere around $100-$200

What about a rear shock? Is there any other "stock" shock that would fit and be better than stock?
