bent shifting shaft yfz

Chain popped off and bent the shifing sfaft on my yfz will this affect the transmission? Seems to shift fine

Well if it shifts fine and rides fine along with no odd noises, I'd say your in the clear. Check your oil filter for metal shavings, I soppose. However I would replace it. It can't be doing any good to the engine.
