You will break your ankles before you shocks break from jumping to high.

I ment you can jump as far or high as you dare to but your ankles will break before you shocks will due to the impact.

i wouldn't go much higher or farther than what you already have...it is not a full on mx bike...it can't take the abuse that the 300ex, 400ex ,and 450r can. also eachone of those is a bettter than the one listed before it...

Yeah i also have a 2006 trx250ex..ive jumped to around 5-6 feet with no problems, as long as i landed on the back wheels first...But make sure that you dont brake your shaft...to do this make sure you arent wide open on the throttle when in the air...the sudden stop of the wheels sometimes causes it to snap.

I watched my nieghbor,Garret, jump his 250ex over a 27 foot water-gap double. He had about 6 foot of air. The water was only inches deep but he was hittin it clean every time. He put a little landing ramp about 2 foot tall in just the right place, looked like a postage stamp to me but he was landin solid.

The boy has been beatin the crap out of this thing since my friend Cassie sold it to him and she beat the crap out of it along with Josh her boyfriend and me when I rode it.

In my opinion you can jump them as high as you can land safely and in control. They bounce like a rubber ball if you flat land them from too high but if you have just a little ramp to land on they can handle some fun jumps.

I did have to put an axle in it for him a few months ago but it had taken alot of abuse here at my place before it went to the neighbors place over a year ago.

Its 3 1/2years old right now

Well then the shocks were junk, or the quad landed wierd and hit something.

If you land going this high you better make sure you land straight, or else you will bend your axle. I learned that the hard way. 250 axles aren't to strong. Also, it may be hard to "break" shocks, but you can blow them.

i know this sounds fake buy i just built a ramp in my yard and me and my dad were fixing it up and we built the landing.so he told me to test it out to see if the landins far enought,so i did,i came up short beacouse i was gouing to slow so i sped up the next time and cleard the landing.after we got a tape measure the kind the football coaches use and it said that i flew 23.7 feet and my dad said i got like 4-6 feet of air,so it depends how u land but im building a landing couse im lucky my axle hasnt snap couse im landing hard.i past the old landing and flat landed :D

I may have triple rate works in the front but I still have a stock rear shock so it still isnt that great of a landing. Plus you land on the rear wheels.

be carful. the 400ex can't take that much either. i was 6-7 ft up going about 45ft until i hit the ground and i was bottoming the thing out so bad that i broke one of my heelgaurds. on my 300, i didn't go more than 5ft in the air.

Dear sissys, i had a 250ex that went to hell in back and i could clear 75 foot table tops with it. wide open in 4th gear, it hurt, it bounced but nothing ever broke, the 250ex is better for jumping than a 300ex!!!! they are lighter and stiffer. Take of the skirts ladies.
