different plug

Does anyone know of a higher performance plug I can use in my 400EX?

No. you can run a colder or hotter plug but there isn't much benefit to that unless you need it. iridium may be the only higher grade plug you can get. however, the last time i checked they didn't even make the 400ex's plug in iridium. i wouldn't expect a gain anyways even with an iridium plug. plus, they are like $13 a piece or so last time i check. i would just run the regular NGK.
