View Full Version : what kind of sand paddles for my 450r?

i currently have sand stars,and i raced a stock yfz(he might of had a filter),anyway when we raced he almost always beat me and even beat me doing wheelies ahead of me.i think he had extreme grips or haulers,i feel like i should get different paddles,so what kind should i get and how many paddles?mods r in sig.i know i could beat him with the right paddles.

get strait haulers 7 paddles they rippp!!! i have em i love them i destroy all lol...and if sum one trys to pass me... haha the paddles make a huge roost:D

i run 8 paddle extrems and love them. i got them because i saw what they did on my freinds' yfz and 450r. 8 paddle is what most seem to like at silver lake but i have seen alot say they like 7.

whats the pros cons of 7/8/9/10 paddle tires?like what do they do different?

Sand Stars are a great paddle tire. They do sling the hell outta the sand though. :D

Yeah the sand stars are very good tires very good, there are so many reason why he can be beating like weight differnce,skill wise and maybe he has more mods then you think

Go with 6 or 7 Paddles you will have more top end and are easier too turn. 8-10 paddles have too much traction and steal speed.

I could'nt dissagree more. I think sand stars are one of the worst paddles out there. I have ridden many brands and ride glamis 75 days a year. If you think stars are the best you need to try some better paddles. If you want to win races in the sand get 7 paddle haulers
