This is an 87 Kawasaki Tecate 4. I bought it about 3 years ago and started to rebuild it, but with my racing all my spare money seems to go to my race quads. The quad ran when I bought it, but pulled the motor anyways to be rebuilt. The motor is completely new minus the crank and tranny. New bearings, new rod, new clutches, everything. When rebuilding I put a kx250 cylinder and head. Besides the ports being larger on the kx it also has 3 powervalves instead of the two found on the stock tecate. The kx cylinder has been bored to a 300 and ported and polished. I have a Klemm Research head pipe mated with a brand newFMF powercore silencer. New V-force delta 2 reeds goes along as well. I have a new flywheel and sprockets. I really wanted to do this bike right. It will come with 2 sets of rims and stock cylinder. The frame has never been welded. The stock plastic is in great shape. The only flaw is one very small hole (looks like a pipe burn) on the rear. Other than that only very light scratches. The pop-up headlight still works great. The seat cover has a tear, but I have a new seat cover in the box for it. It does still need a few parts to be complete, but not very much. The biggest would be a carb. A Keihn PWK 39mm was recommended. It needs a clutch cable and I would probably replace the throttle cable. An intake boot and a filter. The airbox was gone when I bought it and was replaced with a pod filter that had began to dryrot. It needs a $2 timing key and one footpeg. A chain slider and chain would also be needed, but it has new sprockets as mentioned. All bearings are nice and tight. As for now that is all I can think of. I would be happy to answer any questions and if you are serious about buying we can discuss options on meeting. I would prefer not to ship, but would travel a little ways. I really wish I could finish it up, but I just don't think I will get the money and my racers need it more. I am looking to get about what I have in new parts. With the completely rebuit motor, exhaust, etc. I have around $1500 in new parts and that is wat I would like to get out of it. I would say for another $500 you could have this thing rideable and really nice for probably around $800. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks.

Trade for a 1985 Chevy K5 Blazer, only 67k miles, power everything, sitting on 35's with more mods?

Sorry I have no use for that. I would consider trades, but it would have to be a quad or parts.
