Gussett kits

i know the bare performance kits are like $75, but can anybody tell be if you have to disassemble the whole frame from the engine to do the install...also about how much will a welder charge to do the kit....thanks

To do a proper job on the frame, yes it needs to be disassembled. $175 and up is the usual charge for a kit and to have it welded in.

Hey, if you can weld with a mig welder or know someone who can, do it yourself. If you go to the Bare website and print off their exploded view of the Z frame with the gusset locations, you can make the gussets yourself. I did mine and a friends using 1/8" plate steal for about $50 including the wire for the welder. But I am also an experienced welder.:)
