400ex vs. 230f dirtbike

i have a 416 and i smoked a piped 230... u should be able to bett one too.

no comparison to the 400 i raced a crf150 and gave him about 30 feet ahead and passed the crf in third or fourth gear he stopped racing me from all the rocks and sticks that i was throwing on him so you should kill him i would say

I think my crf230 actually has more top-end than my 400ex. However I think the 400ex will beat it to topend.

what kind of performance mods do you have done ar15

the 400ex should beat the bike in acceleration but the bike will prolly pull away toped out

if your planning on drag racing one of your buddys just go out and practice drag racing for a day......once you learn how to get the tires to hook up right, and work the clutch and gears fast you wont have a problem smokin him in a 300ft drag

400ex is pretty much stock. Besides a gutted exhaust tip and twin air filter.

My 230 has the air box baffle removed, exhaust baffle removed, and its been rejetted.

The 230 are not fast for dirt bikes but they do really well on the trails.

yea i believe if you had more performance work done you would kill the 230 even if it was modded

i bet that 230 has smooth power delivery thoughon trails wish my kx did i would eventually like to get a crf250r or 450 right now i dont ride my kx enough as it is cant really justify buying another bike

No doubt the 400ex would kill it with more mods.

I think the 400ex is faster but the 230 has more top speed. Feels like it anyways I could be wrong.

I was riding the 230 and my bro was on the 400ex and I raped him...but he can't ride so it doesn't count.

I am trying to sell both right now. I am either getting a used 450r or a yz125.
