is there a way to add a choke lever on a lectron carb so its accessible on the left side of the motor??? my buddy has a 425cc 350x motor in his 250x and is using the stock 250x carb. he has a 36mm lectron but it takes too long to get it started without a choke. i'm looking for a 4 stroke carb that would fit the motor well also so let me know what you have

Could always hook up a 400ex carb. They work well in the 250x/300ex.

400EX stock carb is a 38mm piston valve type carb. 04/05 450r carb is a 42mm piston valve of similar design.

Have you considered adding a primer? That is an extremely common mod on jetski engines--I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work on a quad. I suggest that because if it were me, I'd want to make the Lectron work. Once started, how is the performance of the Lectron?

My lectron carb has a choke-no lever though. I just take the seat off-lift the choke by hand and in one or two kicks, it fires right up, no choking after it's warm. It is almost impossible to start without the choke. Lectron carbs IMO are the chit!!!!!!
