whats the top speed of a stock 450r

i want to say somewhere between 72mph and 78mph dont know what they are stock.

MY time slip said 75 all three times I went down the 1/4 mile, don't think I could go any faster,even if I went a longer distance.:D 06 ER

in the 1/4 my 04 hrc 450 went 79mph bouncing the rev limiter

I have only hit 5th gear in the sand and I hit about 68-69mph and that is up a slight hill. I think that is pretty good considering the sand. On the road 75mph sounds about right.
i think it is round 75 cause this guy n a yfz said his did 74 n my dad beat him everytime they raced each other

But you also have to look at gearing. You can have all the power you want but unless you change the sprockets its not going to go any faster.

yeah my dad juss recently took his down 2 dirtfirst n got a the HRC power up kit n it made a wolrd of differnece n he rele likes it.....the yfz n suzuki r450 that has alot of mods don't even come close 2 him

exactly, top speed is determined by rpm's and gearing not exhaust or pistons etc.

Weight factors in too. I found a major decrease in top end speed after install HD rears.
