What kind of carb is it? Was it the stock carb for the 250?

its a keihin, no it was not stock on the R it was with a load of spares that came with it, the only markings it has on it are the name keihin and some numbers, PJ 08cach, its got a flat slider on it too.

ok I have found out that it is a Keihin PJ 34mm carb, will it be any better than my stock 400 carb?
it will not help b/c the stock 400ex carb is a 38mm but you could sell that and get some decent money

Keihin PJs are designed for two stroke engines. I suppose it would work on a four stroke but I'm not sure how well. I've not seen any reports from anybody who has tried it [shrug].
If you've got time to kill, I say throw her on there and see what happens!

Don't waste your time with that carb on the 400. I had that carb on my Blaster and it rocked. Its a 2-stroke carb. Sell it on ebay or projectblaster.com forums. They are in demand.
