Oil level

Just got a 05 400ex and when I checked the oil its a little over full. Since this looks like a dry sump style system does it really matter? Will it hurt anything?

well if there's too much oil in there, then you'll definately see some blue smoke. but if you're over by a little bit, i wouldn't worry about it.
