I was looking in a dirtwheels magazine and i seen an add for fullbore with a 450r(04-05) and it looks like you can put there hood on and keep your lights on too. has anyone ever tried this.

well i'v rode with one guy that had one on his and we were coming back from riding and it was pitch black out. the guy had his on it looked like it worked great. i say there is no big difference. i also want to get the fullbore hood too. but when i get that i am gonna get the full kit of the plastic.

and now does it fit on the stock plastic because I real want to get it but I dont want to get the wrong one that doesnt fit the stock plastic

I know when you use a quadtech(i believe the old style hood, not skinny) you can keep the headlight. It looks like you should be able to keep the light when using that hood.

I have a brand new fullbore hood that I will sell if anyone is interested...
