400ex carb on 300ex?

I have a White bros race cam in my 300ex with a stock carb. First of all- Would a 400ex stock fit on a 300ex? Will I notice any difference or is it not worth it. Thanks

yes i did it. it will have better acceleration and a litle bit more top end.

Yeah it should mount, just need to lower the jetting.

It will work because I used to have one on mine. I dont reccomend them at all. I got my stock carb smoothe bored & that gave me more power. But its up to you.

since the 400s carb is larger it will take away from the low end and give more power to the mid - top you need a bigger bore when you get a larger carb according to dirtwheels, atvaction and atvsport's mike penland [ yes the guy who races the fast *** hell prarie 650 is the technical questions guy for atvsport]

you need to buy a atc350x or something like that air box boot also
