450r vs 700R

well I finally got the opportunity to race one..there were two but one wouldnt race me..because the 1st one I raced was a special edition stock 2006 or 7 anyways the guy was 130lbs and I am 230lbs..my mods are in my sig..I beat him all 5 gears it was close till we got to 5th gear and I just walked away from him like he was sitting still. His freind had a 700R also it had a pipe and he wouldnt even race me after I beat the special edition..because the special edition beats him..I am soo stoked.. I know I got the HRC kit but its a 700cc and mine is 450cc..250 less cc's and 100 pounds on him.. I rode the 700 and I really dont like it at all..it feels really weak.I guess Im just use to my beast.:De

anybody else had any experince with a 700

I spanked all over a 700r too. All I know that it had was full pipe and razrs. I had him start to finish and ended up with about 3 lenghts on him. I think it was 100 yards. I was fairly surprised as well.

I went racing today at Jones beach oregon by Long view and I was racing 4 banshees with pipes and jetted and I smoked them and i raced 2 yfz450 and I beat them to like a quad away and I know for a fact that the 700R isnt that fast so yea and I raced the new Lt450 and it smoked me like a quad lenght but he was going ahead at the start but yea 450R rocks

I raced a LTR and beat him till 4th then my bike stalled:rolleyes: I didnt have enough gas for the bike to run right. Even though I had some in the tank. But yah the 06 is fasssst

dang that sucks man about your quad stalled and yea the guy had pipe and everything he just a good rider I guess but I am to but anyways it was a close race but with the other race's that i did it was ez win lol and the 06 450ER are quick as **** lol

I have beat 700 raptors a few times at the dunes but they were stock except for pipe and fuel management system. They are nice quads for a more laid back riding style but I don't see any of them keeping up with the 450's. I haven't had chance to race a ltr450. If they have basic mods how quick are they compared to a 06 450r with HRC kit? I will hopefully get chance soon to race one and I expect to win.

i wish yall wold come race the yfz's down here cuz all the 450s down here are fairly even its just who gets the start is who usually win, my buddy has an ltr cherrybombed, we have an 06 hrc and a yfz stock, and a 700, i agree on short runs the 700 isnt all that great but not far from the 450's but it has top, we can all run with him on top but our motors are just revving so hard while his is just going

whoamack..I dont feel the same about the top end..when I raced him AGAIN after he cleaned the air filter and drilled holes it the top..he pulled off form me in 4th and a little more in 5th ..but after about 3 seconds I was pulling on him and passing him and pulled about 2.5 to 3 bikes on him..I dont think they have any top end..!

all in all , they are all good bikes,thats what there is different companies for ...competition, its all about preference anymore
