roll design swingarm

Hi,

I have a question, I want to install a roll design swingarm +1 inch on my trx.

But in the netherlands nobody can tell meif I have to modified my rear shock, because now I have a ohlins shock with a stock swingarm and link so I want to know if it possible to use that by a roll design swingarm

I dont know very much about suspension but I do know that Roll Design is top of the line. You will probably have to have your rear shock revalved and maybe a new rear link. I am not sure but thats my guess, someone on here will tell you more.

but does anybody know if need a longer shock with this setup

no, you will not need a longer shock. the link determins the length of the shock. you might need to revalve the shock only because it wil feal to soft with a longer swinger on it.

Roll design uses elkas link with a long travel rear shock.

I can't get Elka in the netherlands , I ca only use stock or gt thunder

correct me if im wrong but i think the roll swinger will work with any link its just they reccomend using elka b/c they have a deal or something with them. a gt link should work fine and so will any shock set up for your setup.
