i need some bolt info

alright so i broke the bolt that holds my pin drive axle hub onto the axle today. and i did the same thing last weekend. i have been using grade 8 bolts and i was told there the strongest i could buy but obviously there not strong enough. so my question is there anything stronger? titanium? and dont give me to much crap for the fact the axle is durablue because i just dont want to hear it anymore.

Grade 8 bolts should be strong enough. Are you using a torque wrench to tighten? I would think if they're breaking, they are not tight enough or too tight. Good luck.

yes i am using a torque wrench to tighten the bolts down within the recommended torque specs.

are the holes worn out?,...maybe with a little play in the hub after tightening? hmmm wish i could help more

i couldnt feel any play in them the last time i put a new bolt in there but im going to try a different hub.
