I recently broke my stock grab bar. I bought an AC Racing MX Grab bar to replace it and i have yet to bring it back on it but it seems to be built alot stronger than the stock one. The stock one was like paper thin it seemed like... The ac one is nice!

the closest i have seen to an unbreakable one is to make one out of steal. they seem fairly simple to make. try doing wheeles in softer soil insted of over rocks or on pavement.

Just be careful because some aftermarket grab bars are a little shorter so u will get busted up if u go too high!!!If i ever break the stocker i would want one the same lenght or a little longer!!!!

i would buy the weakest ones you can if you still plan on going over in a wheelie there alot cheaper than a subframe

1. Don't come back on wheelies. They aren't the hardest things to do under the sun anyways.

2. A grab bar is DESIGNED TO BREAK. If it didn't break and you kept coming back on it, guess what? You would eventually be investing in a new subframe.

3. I haven't came back on it, but my PRM looks tough as chit. I would bet it wouldn't break.

The stonger the grab bar u get, the more chances u have of twisting your sub frame.

I would rather be replacing grab bars then sub frames.

ok i have had my 450r for two years now and i never broke the grab bar. probably everytime i ride it i will be do willies. since i got that 13 tooth and the stage 2hc. i can do willies for ever now if i have a long run. but i sugest to you learn how to do willies without recking and plus only let people on your 4 wheeler who you trust wont do nothing stupid or just don't let no one at all.

I know if one of the few people I let ride my suff ever broke anything on them, they would step up and replace it....Maybe you should have a "break it u, buy it" policy...

I often get asked what is that pad on your grab bar for. It's there just for that reason. Instead of the bar hitting the ground it hits first and turns disapating the energy and has saved my 2nd stock grab bar more than once. Try it some time. It also acts as a bumper in a tight filled garage like mine.

I too broke my stock grab bar and replaced w/AC bar. It is a really well made part. Has the bkt for ('06) muffler too. And came with a number plate, but I installed the taillamp instead.
But like thrasher_ex said, if any stronger, youd tweak your $ubframe. You dont wanna do that :ermm:
Come to think of it, my frt bumper broke just a easliy as the rear!
Good thing too, that hit would have bent the main frame
