ya so basically im new to this forum i have a 06 400ex black with red white and black one industries graphics on it and a couple other things and i was looking into buying a pipe should i get slip on or full? i want a loud one that performes just as well thanks guys -Bobby

Want a loud pipe with tons of torque? get a trinity stage IV. it runs at about 103 db's

Curtis Sparks is really loud, if you want a REALLY LOUD pipe, consider a shorty pipe, TC, GT THUNDER, N MOTION.

All loud pipes do is piss people off and thats more ammo that these enviro groups need to shut down our riding areas, why not consider something like a white bros e-series that gives good performance and keeps the noise level down

I agree.

Also, on a stock engine I don't think a full system is going to be anything but more expensive. Get a good slip-on and use the savings for different mods....

I would get a full system I dont know what the best pipe for a 400ex would be but I know on my dvx before all the mods... I had the slip on and it was cool I know it had alittle more power then stock but I could really tell the difference with I got the header pipe so IMO no matter what pipe you get I would get a full system but you could buy a slip on for now then buy the header pipe later!!! Welcome to the site!!!
