Joe Byrd's 05 trx450r Dasa

I am selling this bike for a friend of mine that broke his collar bone and says he is getting too old for this mx stuff so he is selling his bike. It is one of Byrd's bikes that he ran last year. It is a 05 with a brand new frame (pc'ed wrinkle black)that I replaced for him last month, it has 2 races on it. (one local and one national) The motor was sent to Dan out at Dasa and he did what he does best, dont ask me what is in it cause i dont know, honest, all i know is this thing hauls major ***!!!! The power on it is so sweet. While it was at Dasa, Dan replaced the crank,head,ALL transmision gears,piston, rings,valves, web cams, basiclly everything but the cases and side cases. It has all Hinson clutch components also. They motor and frame has 2 races on it and that is it. I'm not gona list everything that is on the bike cause there is too much chit, if some one really needs me to than i will but for now just look at the pictures, everything on the bike is still on it when he bought it from Joe, exept new frame and new motor. Dan said he could get more hp with his pipe so the yoshi pipe was replaced with a Dasa pipe. The shocks were sent to Nolean and serviced while the frame and motor was being replaced.

Axis shocks (nolean)

This is just some of the stuff that I can think of right off the top of my head. The bike also comes with 2 full sets of kenda tires(4 klaws front)(2 klaws rear)(2 knarly rear) It also comes with the plastic and hood that was on the bike when it was bought. The spare pipe in the picture DOES NOT come with it, a guy bought it the other day, sorry. I rode this bike when it had the motor in it from Joe and this thing is very fast and handles like no other quad i have rode. I have not rode it since the new motor but Trace says it pulls evan harder than before, the way the bike is set up it really puts the power to the ground, the suspension is awesome, I have the same axis on one of my hybrids and they dont evan compare to these shocks they are amazing. The only thing I can see wrong with the bike is that the seat cover has a tear on each side, other than that it is ready to go. If I could sell my 2 Hybrids I would buy this bike in a heartbeat it is well worth the money. He is asking $12,500 for the bike he said he might be interested in trading +cash for a Polaris ranger so he can use it at deer camp. If you have any questions please ask. pm me or call

Yes the bike is still forsale, I really dont think he will trade for a 300, im think he would rather have a grizzly, rino, or ranger but you never know. Call Trace and ask him, his # is posted
