I am fixing to buy a carb but dont know which is best for my 400ex. It has a 440 kit, stage two cam, 13:1 piston, port and polished head, curtis sparks x-6 full exhaust, and bigger valves and, and I run 110 octane full, so I need a carb and I was wondering which is best for my fourwheeler.

i know i lot of people don't like edelbrock carbs but i got the quiksilver and it was ez to tune right and the best thing is it has no jets. the best carb for you would be the Eichner Signature Series. you find sum on ebay for a lil cheeper

I had an fcr on mine. but couldent get the thing dialed in for nutin. One day it would run like a champ the next it would sputter or bog. Otherwise the carb made big power. I was running the 39mm.
