It should be a fairly good race. Try starting in 2nd gear, if you on loose terrain. If you start in 1st, all you will do is spin.

I agree , should be a close race. What's the weight difference between the two of you? It could come down to that.

I have both an 05' YFZ450 and 05' TRX450R.

The 450R has:
HMF Full Sport Series Exhaust
HRC Airbox Lid
HRC Snorkel
Sparks Racing Filter

The YFZ has:
Alba Racing Full Exhaust
K&N Filter
Airbox Lid off

The YFZ pulls 1/2 bike length in 1/8 mile.

But....the YFZ is geared significantly lower than the TRX.

Thats some food for thought for ya. 06's are very different from the 05's, just thought I would throw in my .02 cents. :)

The better rider should win.

The 06 R is supposed to have the more potent engine out of the three big 450s currently out. But it will probably come down to little things such as gearing, whos better on the clutch, and rider weight. Make us prowd, eat that YFZToilet ALIVE!!!!!!!
