I've always wanted one and now you can get a KTM e-Start too. Might be how I roll this year @ Glamis.

Love the colors.

I want one:D

They did a review of it in Dirtwheels a while ago (a little bit of a different style but same consept). They pretty much praised it overall except when it came down to price.

I am curious as to how the dual rear suspension rides.

Oh it's worth it though, it's worth it.

I think everyone who's saying that they wouldn't trust this machine or it's front end should dig up some of the Hueovs and do some research on the internet. These quads make your $20k 450 seem like it's riding on 2x4's.

I've ridden one in the dunes...the thing is awesome! Funky looking but an amazing ride!

The a-arm design is just a plain great idea. It completely eliminates camber change while riding over rough terrain. The rear end setup although a little unconventional looking, would make it pretty hard to bend an axle, so keep that in mind too.

OSM,

Which engine did the one you ride have in it?

What mainstream quad would you say it is closest to in regards to these 3 categories: size, weight and ergos?

Would you mind giving a brief ride report an evaluation? And the reason you have not purchased one?

.

I rode the previous model eraser. I think the differance is mainly cosmetic. It had a 520cc ktm. The quad was well built...chrome moly tube frame, billet aluminium pieces on the rear suspension...Ergos were very nice feeling. It was wierd seeing the front suspension and the opening's on the rear fenders. I didn't like the look of the older plastic. It was all very well thought out though. The motor cradle is a neat part. Very easy to adjust the front end camber...I only dune rode it but the thing ran like a scalded cat!(fast). The ktm motor was a brute! It was very stable but still flickable. The suspension took everything you could throw at it in stride. It may look wierd but it works! It's a tremendous duner.
At the time I was looking at the w-tec I was also looking at a building a Walsh KTM powered quad. The problem was finding a new KTM motor. They just weren't availible at the time. I was left with buying a new bike for the doner. The cost of buying the w-tec roller and a new 520 ktm bike was just too much$$$ and I was building my trx450. Too much of a Honda man I guess... I would still like to do it though...
