Athena Big Bore Kit ?

my friend has a hrc kit with fatboy 4 exhaust and the motor is getting a little tired and he wants to rebuild it and put a athena big bore kit in it but my question is is it worth doing and what kind of compression can he run he was told by a local shop not to do it and go witha 470 kit i need some advice on what to tell him what he should go with thanks for your help

I race dezert all the time no problems.Im no slouch finish within the top five everytime..No problems even broke it in at dumont dunes ..I figured if it lasted there shooting dunes it was a keeper..
