Hey pappy I desroyed the studs on my 400ex left hand side, rear hub, are the studs removable on these hubs? You powdercoated my hubs blue for me and I was wondering if I have any other options than to buy a new hub. If I do have to buy a new hub do you have any lying around your shop some where that I can buy and have you powdercoat?

The stud will press out. I think they are around 5 bucks each.

Can you order them from service honda? I went to the website and couldn't find a part number for them.

Ok I have finally realized after 4 days of trying to get the studs out of my hub that I dont have the proper equiptment. I pretty much destroyed the powder coat on it in the process too.

Pappy I have the new studs for the hub but i can't get the old ones out and now I need to get the hub re-powdered. If I send you my hub to get repowdered can you put the new ones in while its there and charge me for the extra labor?

Next time you try and remove your studs leave the hub on the axle and tip bike on the side take nut and screw on the stud till it fits flush so you dont squish the stud over grab a big hammer and give it a couple good wraps with the hammer wala out comes the stud.........

As soon as they press out the linkage bearing i can do the linkage. I do not have one here so it has to go through the whole process since it is already coated.

The rear hub is stripped awaiting the linkage. As far as the total, I was not planning on charging you anything but return shipping because I know how it is to damage a coated part:p
