I just bought kenda klaws on t9 .190 itp rims and thought that the rims would hold up for a while WRONG not one weekend racing on them. I got tied up with another rider just a little didn't evan fall off my quad and it put a HUGE dent in the rim.

I need to buy replacements for the rear now before next week. I know hipers are the chit but I don't have $400 to spend on just rear rims. what can I buy that will hold up to mx racing for somewhere around $250? I'de like to get bead locks. Douglas conventionals??? I really need help choosing THANKS!

Take a look at the ITP Trac-Lock bead lock on the out side Baja ring in the inside and you can get a pair for 250 easy and the honda bolt pattern comes with steel inserts for use of the tapered lug nut. This is the most rim you can get for only 250.

Hipers are good, but expensive!! You get what you pay for! :o

Any reinforced or beadlock rim will be much stronger then a .190, even over the rolled edge rims. All it takes is a few rough landings and you will joing the "square rim club"

There are alot of choices for new, but the used market is an option also!

I just wanted to know which rim was going to hold up the best. ITP Baja, Pro-lock Douglas beadlock?

By far take the bead locks, the bajas are just reinforcements and I've seen so many bend.

JW450R1 are they omf douglas beadlocks? because thats what I decided to get so evan if I get a flat the tire will still be on the bead and I'll just run it till the end of race, but if the bolts to the beadlock go i would say that the rim would screwed. There is alot of bolts on the beadlock though it would take quite a few broken bolts to not be usable.

and O yah just for preference OMF beadlocks good **** or not ?
