I have a 400ex and i was riding it the other day, and it was running fine and all of a sudden when i hit the throttle, it had no power at all. I just had it rebuilt a few months ago. I checked to see if it was the cdi, but that wasn't it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Is it smoking? Does it still run? If it still run I wouild check the vent on the gas tank if you been riing in the mud. It might be plug it will cause it to strave for fuel. I would try this. IT is a easy check.

could have some dirt in your jets. Also, sometimes it looks like you have plenty of gas but its the reserve. Turn the nob to reserve and it might be fine...

ye check that...check your killswitch, check your air filter. mine did that in the snow and it ended up being a frozen filter..but who knows, check your carb, and also like they said check the vent hose

Next time post it in the correct forum.

Have you checked your main jet? Does it idle ok and only run like crap ofter you give it gas? From the little bit of information you have provided makes it sound like a main jet has fallen out...

your carb is dirty. mostly yur main jet. carbs are easy to clean. jsut make sure you flush the hole carb out good so you arent jsut moving the dirt around. take the jets out and spray through them.

Check the screws in the slide valve in the carb. Move the throttle and make sure everything is operating properly.
