when to change right after break in

i just broke in mr trx 450 and want to now when i should change it

The oil? I'd change it after 2 tanks. After that, It will be every 4 to 5 tanks of fuel. More or less depending on how you ride, and the conditions.

When I first got my 450r I rode it for 2 hours then changed the oil. The next time I went about 6 hours and changed it again.

I used non-synthic oil for the first 3 changes to make sure the rings wore in good.

Now I use Amsoil 10-40 and change it about every 10-15 hours.

Change both sides and the filter every time.

After you break in your quad change all fluids and adjust your vavles.

If it was a 400ex he would have to get the valves done a few hours after break in. But the 450r's don't need any valve work for a season or two.

It is still good to check

also make sure you check your valvs when the engin is cold it will not be right if the motor is worm or hot
