I'll fit on a 400ex wont it? I was almost positive that mine was a 250r hood but I wanted to make sure.

I am not sure, I have never tried it. I don't want to say it will and tell you wrong.

Nice hood and a good price but I need a black one, I already have a red one but I don't like the way it looks with my plastics. Sorry.

Some of the guys posted that the 250r hoods will work on 400's up to '05's without doing a lot of cutting. They said that '05 and after you have to do some cutting. The post is in the 400ex information section if you would like to take a look at it. If you are still interested let me know. Thanks for being patient.
