Would they help much when riding on trails?
I do most of my riding on trails but i hit some straight areas and punch it alot. Mostly windy trails though.

KRT said it right. As long as your moving ( a decent speed), they should be directing air to the oil cooler and engine.
Any questions on mine, check them out in the reviews section. Or you can email me.

Other than helping, I think they look really cool on a quad. JMO.

I bought my scoops off of tinner, they bolted up nicely and they were less expensive than the other mainstream brands. Tinner makes some awesome Air scoops IMO.

Bingo! Any increased air to the motor is a GREAT thing! They stay alive longer that way. Plus they look killer and are a good place for stickers...

I highly recommend Tinners Scoops. And yes, they do actually help direct air to the engine.
