You can just dry shift which is shifting without the clutch.

Pull in the clutch and shift. If you are balanced correctly then you don't even have to shift fast.

everyone always wants to shift when they are wheeling, lol!!!! its MUCH funner to stay in one gear and balance it out, holding it smooth and steady, lol. if you want a fast wheelie just clutch up 3rd or 4th!!! but anywho, lol........just keep your index finger, and your middle finger on the clutch while wheeling, the rest can stay wrapped around the handlebar. when you are ready to shift, just pull in the clutch w/ those two fingers as you let off the throttle, lean back a bit to help keep the quad up, shift the gear....let the clutch back out, ease back onto the throttle and there ya go......you changed gears. its pretty easy though

Yes you do need to shift, if your revving to high. Since you're just learning to shift, I suggest you dont use the clutch yet untill you got it down.

learning to bounce it will help.. if you preload the front suspension it helps out alot... to get it up in higher gears takes some practice and timming... but bouncing helped me get it down.. now its cake
