It was 100+ here today, good thing theres a quary that they hit water in where we party during lunch and after work, theres a rope swing and chit it's badass, supervisor brings back some ice cold ones and we sit back and relax in the shade lol I'll get pictures tomorrow :cool:

i ran 5-6 miles today in the heat and it felt pretty refreshing (seriously)...it felt nice and then i jumped in the pool :D

I hate summer.. Its been so hot here I cant stand in direct sunlight for over 5mins. If summer came with 70 degree temps it would be way better..

For example I was in my garage for 5mins and started dripping sweat non-stop.

I really hope we have a harsh winter. Am I the only moron who goes outside in shorts and no shirt while it snows? I love the cold:blah:

I'm at Lorettas in Hurricane Mills, Tenessee and it was 107 yesterday in the shade underneath the motorhome canopy. Humidity is near 100% everyday. it pretty much blows. Upside is all the hotties are in bikinis everywhere.

the colder the better. i don't mind 80s in the summer. but 70's would be nice. i just stay in the AC all freaking day and ill be ok. 2 minutes in the garage last night and i had a larger puddle on the floor then the bike created after washing it.

Thermometers read stored heat from the earth, even in the shade. The temp in Baghdad yesterday was 115, which is what it calls for all this week. Down in Kuwait City it is going to be 118 tomorrow.

I saw a thermometer read 165 last week in Quartzite, AZ. It was in the shade but mounted on a metal pole above asphalt. The air temp was only 121. :o

The hottest temp ever recorded on earth was 136 in Libya way back in the 20's. Death Valley, CA got up to 134 in the early part of last century.


Everybody talks about the high heat but we had the coolest July in 20 years here in Phoenix metro. We did have 3 days of 117+, they suck, dry or not.
