I was in a airboat yesterday fishing, and the guy had a 502 big block 700hp motor. I was thinking what if I had one of those on my quad???? Or a Rhino, that would be FAST!!!!!. How hard would it be to make a 502 fit in a 400ex frame, what would be invovled??? Im not going to do this, well, maybe one day, just for kicks and giggles. What would be invovled? How much money would it cost to actully put it in the frame?

I would choose a rhino. Accually there is nothing out there that could hold that strong of a motor. Get yerself a GEO Tracker or Sidekick and put it in that. There about the same size as a Rhino.

Boss Hoss builds V8 motorcycles. This is the 502ci version. It's a lot bigger than it looks in this picture. Ugly as sin, IMO...

I imagine you'd have to mod an EX so much to get a big block in there that there'd be little point to starting with anything but a (nearly) clean sheet build.

the frame would be way to weak and twist. ud have to build a new frame then it wouldnt be an ex. if you did build it you couldnt ride it cause it would wheelie all the time

go to a junk yard and try to straddle a bbc

not to mention the 900lbs of eng. less if you had alum. heads titanium valves retainers, some hypereutectic pistons, light weight fly wheel sheet metal intake etc....

weight savings 180 lbs maybe

do it with a small block what ever

you can get a siamese bore 8.2 deck alum. 302 block base.

check it 8.200" - 8.700" 10 lbs per inch on deck height

now lets get a set of Yates heads (used nascar stuff..lol)
