Will it hurt my motor if i ran race gas in my stock bike...i just got it friday and i was just wondering if i can run race gas in it...it is the 06 model with the 12.1 compression ratio....if some one coudl give me the heads up id really appreciate it....thanks

Kinda depends on which race gas you're talking about. Racing fuels do tend to be somewhat corrosive to certain parts. Oxygenated fuels especially. That doesn't stop people from using racing fuels when they are needed though....

Just remember that anytime you change fuels you should confirm (and if necessary adjust) your jetting to match the new fuel.

You probably don't need a racing fuel and you're not likely to realize any performance increase by using most basic racing fuels in your stock engine. If your engine is detonating, then absolutely--use a higher octane fuel than you're currently running. Otherwise you're very unlikely to see a difference with your stock engine. But, your engine isn't going to explode or anything if you choose to run a racing fuel and jet appropriately.

We noticed that the 06 likes 93 and the top of hte piston doesn't build ash deposits like the race fuel!
Much cheaper too!

ok thats all i wanted to know ive been burning 93 in it...

i've tried vpc12 106oct. and it sucked!!! and that was 50/50, it would not burn it at high rpms i too went back to 93:D
