anyone else have this problem

ok i got an lrd slip on exhaust for my z400. it seems that it touches the plastic enoguh that it will melt it. anyone else ahve this problem how can i fix it?

Rocky Mtn. and Chaparel both have heat tape that protects the plastic and reflects some of the heat. You may want to try looking into that option.

my yosh full system did that to when i first bought it. i just cut out around where it was melting the plastic.

haha i had a KFX with an HMF did just that in that very spot, i just let it melt, it had a nice lil spot just for it when it was done

moose makes that stuff to. its like 20 bucks for a 18"x18" piece. well worth it. put it on your airbox to. ive seen those start to melt as well.

yea on one of my warriors my air box melted i have a dg on it
