I was just curious to see if anyone ues wheel spacers like the ones DuraBlue makes instead of gettinglonger arms. Just wondering since I'm gonna be looking into makin my 400 a lil wider in the future...

There is a user on this site named Randall that makes aluminum spacers that are really nice. He would probably have some insight on pros and cons of them.

i have heard that using the spacers is hard on the front spindles and will make the axle bend or break easier, so you'd be better off getting wider aarms and axle.

Here's what durablue graphlite 1.5 spacers look like mounted on a 400ex..I rode hard with these for 1 year with no problems..

So whats the verdict... will I bend my axels or will I have no problem. Or is it all up to the way I am riding....

I wouldn't run rear spacers under any circumstances,,they'll break before you bend your axle probably..

I ride rear wheel spacers and I didnt have any problems. maybe its just a different design than durablue but its very strong plus it handles great everywhere.I got it for 50 $ canadian for 2 wheels.(maybe 30$ US)

ya I to had the same question.... I'm really looking hard for some +2 arms and a rear axle... Just so much $$$$ that I don't have. Mainly I will be riding in the dunes, which is softer... maybe the wheel spacers are the ticket!

Does anyone run front wheel spacers with offset wheels?

I want to get some wider a-arms some day but dont have the money right now. I do have money for elka triple rates and an axle. I was wondering if i could get my elkas and have them vavled for +2 if it would be ok running them with a 2 inch or 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers?
