Has anyone seen this happen before?

While "wisking" the bike last night I noticed this slight problem with the silencer to pipe junction. The weld around the entire pipe is completely failed, the silencer spins freely from the pipe. Wondering if anyone has had this problem, and if WB will do something about it?? :(

same thing happened to our FMF Megamax II, 2 1/2 years old

how old is the pipe? ive heard they will replace it with a new one

under 6 months old. Never even leaked or done anything weird before, just up an split apart. Dunno why, never wash it warm and keep the the bike cleaned and maintained regulary. Hoping the WB will help out. Have a call into Paul at WB hopefully he calls back. Sucks though cause I have another AMA race this weekend I was gonna try and make but not now. Hopefully it will be ready for the harescramble next week.

If all else fails, just take it to a welding shop. That can be tigg'd up in a jiffy!

hopefully I won't have to get it welded. good thing, paul gave a ring back a few minutes ago and said that they have seen this happen and they will take care of replacing it, or he gave me the option of going to a local delaer and they can even exchange and white brothers will give them credit. Headin out for an early lunch from work to Dreyer to see if they can help out. keepin my fingers crossed.

that happened to my white brothers, i called them and they replaced it with a brand new one. They make them a little different now. there is another bracket that goes from the canister to the stinger!

Same thing happen to, Same pipe in the same pipe. I just weld it back because I didn't want to wait for it to get replaced. Never had a problm again.
