400 2 a 440

i am planni gon chnaging my 400ex 2 a 440ex.....will this b worth it my 400 already has a stage 1 cam n fatboy 4 exhaust.....how much of a differnece will the 44o make n do i have 2 chang ne thing around in the motor 2 make it run right.....n its the 440 reliable????? thnaks

youll definatly have to rejet the 440 is very reliable and has power all around i love mine im sure youll be very impressed with the differance in the power and throttle response.youll have alot of fun with it.i go riding 8-16 hours every weekend and mine loves to go the whole time so you shouldnt have any problems with it. hope this helps

well if i rember correctly it was only like 150 to have it punched out and the sleave put in and like 200 to port and polish

I hope you can ride a four wheeler better that you can type. But to get to the point a 440 kit should give it quite a bit more power.
