350x quad?

Hey fellas, haven't been here in a while, but I might be back soon. I have found a 250r quad, with a-arms and axle, works triple rates all around, Rikens and Tamers, with a 350x engine in it, slightly bored. Anyone here ridden a similar quad? I am interested to hear your thoughts. He is asking $3000, and I plan to work out a trade with my 99 KX250. Thanks in advance.

Never rode one but raced against 2 of them in the 350 open class and they keep up with my quad pretty good,,,but at the time I didn't have a 416 piston or cam in my bike either,,what I would do is double check everything on the frame and chassis 1st. I think it was ATV sport that had an article on what to look fer when buying an old 250r chassis but it had a 250r motor in it,,,I'd read it 1st before you make any decisions....if it wasn't ATV sport then it was DW,,,,good luck,,,If it's in good condition,,get it...one of a kind bike...later.

for another 1000.00 you could get a decent used 400EX w/electric start!

kicking that 350X can get old!
