i bought my 400 used. the owner had a stage 2 jet kit, k&n airfilter and wrap, and a white bros e series exhaust installed.
the problem is if i run the air box lid on it, it begins to flood out.
without the lid it runs perfect. how can i fix this so that it runs
properly.

if it runs good with the lid off but not with the lid on at full throttle them you probally need to go down on the main jet a size or two.

leave the lid off, it's dumb anyway to put an air filter in a box, where no air can get to it.
