hey guys i need to make a decision on buying a 2002 660r with a hmf slip on or a mildly upgraded 2004 yfz450 with aftermarket camshafts. i need to know what ROUGHLY the stock hp and tq reading of these 2 stock bikes. Also any suggestions for why i should pick one over the other would be VERY much appreciated. thanks alot

both quads are amazing, personally i prefer the raptor because of all of its torque and top end spreed, the 450 is very snappy as the 660 pulls like crazy. u can get more power out of the 660 than the 450 if u soup them up. but if ur gonna be racing i would get the 450 if u don't have the money to buy the a arms and shocks for the raptor. but if u are just gonna be trail riding i would get the 660 u can get some serious power out of them.

The 450 should be a greater choice. I have a cousin and a friend with 660s, as well as a few locals and they all get blown away by the 450s in my area. The 660s are torquey and fun to drive... plus they have the same top-speed, or nearly the same as the 450s. The 450s are more rev than torque and handle greater.... general faster bikes until you really get into the engines. The 660s with the larger engine have greater potential for drags, but the 450s can be made into very capable bikes as well. Just being totally honest... take it how you want.
