I let him do all the wrenching, I did have to help him get the swing arm back up on the shock, but he did pretty good.

The new gear works great, it will take me a few hundred shots to get used to the new layout

The metering and focus work a whole lot better then my older cameras

Pappy

as far as the shock, we cant do a bunch of adjusting until his front end is on. he said it does work very well though

yep Colby has them now, they are getting re-valved to make sure they are right :o

and they are 22" GNCC fronts.

Actually, we are trying something different for the fronts. They are 450R shocks, with the shaft shortened and valved/sprung for this set up. We have the JB shock adapter, 400ex +1 arms and the R shocks.

Thats why we are doing it. The 300ex may not be cutting edge these days, and alot fo riders want better but just cant drop $1200 on shocks. If this works, it would be a resonably priced alternative for alot fo folks.

Yes and no:p

he knows how, but we have come to the conclusion that he is just too dang short to use his weight to get the quad up:scary: He has done a few goofing off on the 400ex, and the extra power will bring the front end up without much input from him, but its still not like the best wheelie youve ever seen:p

yep, i decided i wasnt paying more then what i got them for in a set of bolt on nerfs. chances are he will destroy them by hitting trees so a penny saved wont hurt my feelings

and im digging the new camera:eek2:
