what is your experience level?

is a 400cc or larger sport machine the right size for you? if not...........the 300ex or the new blaster might be a better option.

If you go and buy what DirtWheels says, then its
1)Z400
2)Raptor/C-Dale/Predator (though it hasn't been tested against the others yet)
3)400ex
4)Banshee
:(

Punk is right. Are you experienced enough for a 400 + cc. My 10 year old wants a Cannibal. I laughed...

If you are going to race and you have some cash, get the Dale.

If not, get the Z.

I got both my Z's for $4954 each. OUT THE DOOR!

Im pretty well expienced.
Do yall think the yamaha Bombardier is and good and can it keep up witha z400?

Also i heard that the axles bend real easy and thes steering stem and tierods are week on the z400
Is this true?

Do yall know any sites about the cannibal?

The Z400's HAVE some axle problems. Some will get on here and tell you they have no problems but there have been enough bent axle reports to consider it a Z400 "weak spot".

Check out ATVAddiction for some C-dales. The #1 place (IMO) is www.rsperformance.net. They are a great company and you can even just ask Kyle or Carey about anything if you have any problems. They actually know what they're talking about. www.cannondale.com is obviously a good site for the Cannondales too.

The first word that comes to mind when I hear Bombardier DS650 is HEAVY!!! They are very heavy and could be a hand full in the air.

get a banshee and throw some pipes on it....u will have the fastest, most fun quad...and they jump fine as long as ur experienced.

I've seen that people r getting Dales for around $5500+tax and charges. I think they're well worth it but i'd say the next step down is a Z400, then 400ex. Yes the Z400's axles r a little weak, if u land really bad like i did u'll have a problem but a wider/stronger axle is a very good mod.

A guy on a prarie came here a couple of weeks ago to ride. he made sure he did a 2 wheel drive wheel burn on the concrete slab in front of my garage to show me its power............LOL. he left about 5' of rubber no problem.

A Sportsman 700 will beat a 300EX, I have been beat (badly) by my uncles Grizz 660, and they are about the same speed.

exrider, if you can stand riding around on a 700+ pound machine than its the right one for you. The only thing i dont like about ours is the 6ply tires. we had a 2000 Polaris 500 (that was traded for the 700) and it had 2 ply tires and it rode much nicer. ours has 28" tires on it now so the ride is full of vibrations anyway. the 700 also has some clutch issues pretaining to vibration. ive heard its easily fixed, but we have not had to do it yet.

other than that its pretty incredible. it wheelies, it jumps it handles, dont underestimate its power. plus when i get stuck, it can pull me out!

I was talkin to my dad the other day and....
...Its either a polaris 700 twin or a truck!
I am 14 yrs old.
If I got the 4 wheeler I would get more use out of it now but if i got a truck the would give me plenty of time to jack it up and everything else i want to do it!
So what should i get?

all i can say is once you ride a banshee you will love it

IMO you should get a Prarie 650 and start saving for a truck. By the time you turn 16 and get your liscence you can have a truck and then start jacking it up. You have pretty much all your life to jack up a truck but you sure cant drive a quad all your life...or can you......... :)

Sport quads are more fun than utility imo anyway. I would ride both before you make your final choice dude. You might not want to jump that Sportsman too much......
