Let me know if you use it or have used it for XC racing. Does it hang to low for rocky sections??? Have you hit rocks with it? Did it bust your swing-arm link mounts?

I have it and race XC. I haven't rode in rocks with it yet though. The front part of the linkage is steel so it should hold up pretty well. Only thing I didn't like was having to hack the skidplate up to get it to fit. If this skidplate gets trashed I think next time I will buy the GT Thunder dual sprocket guard and the rotor guard from LSR.

I use it also, I have had no problems.

Are there any companies who make a skid plate that will protect the linkage??? I had to cut my skid plate also, and need to get another one. I hate spending money for a new skid plate and then having to cut half of it off!!!

I have changed my riding style a bit. I make sure NOT to hit large rocks in the center. I have raced it all season and had no problem so far.

MHSC series takes us over HUGE rocks....
