Who can put me in the ball park for a stock 03 300ex with a Yoshimura RS-3 and an open air box. I will most likely put a K & N filter with outerwear on as well.

Thanks

I would start with a 135 main. and the pilot screw at 2-2.5 turns out from lightly seated. Needle in the stock position.

Agree.

If you get some backfiring on deceleration.. bump the pilot up to a 40 or 42 (at the most).

Needle shoud be ok.. but if it bogs in the middle (50% throttle) put it on the 4th slot (1st slot is on the blunt end).

If you have the quiet core in.. you'll probably need to run around a 130 main.

I put the 135 in and it is pretty good. I am going for the 40 PJ today. I get a slight hesitation in there...but it is pretty close. Big difference in snapiness and acceleration.

THANKS

How do you adjust the slide. I see the arm and the plunger. I assume I must pull that out but how hard is it once I do that? Getting the screw back in the arm of the pluner was tough too.
