Thats a sweet ride my friend. I really like the white plastics. The nerfs, etc look great too. I'd really like to change the plastics on my '06 to white. Me likes it that much. Did you get HRC kit?
Enjoy your new ride.

I DIDN'T GET THE HRC YET, I WANT TO BRAKE THE MOTOR IN FIRST AND ALSO SEE IF I NEED IT. IF YOU HAVE THE HRC KIT YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE THE TOP END REDONE SOONER FROM THE HIGH REV.'S. IT IS HARD ON YOUR MOTOR. I BELIEVE IN STOCK AND OUT RIDEING THE OTHER GUY. LOL I DIDN'T BUY IT TO RACE!! I WANT TO LIVE TO RIDE ANOTHER DAY!!!!

Does anyone know, how much the new factory white plastics would be (to change over, on a 06?)

yea for the hrc kit It would cost cheaper if you did it your self but I would prefer that let the pros do it. They would jet it perfect and if you have warrenty then it wont void because honda did it so thats just what I think because I have done it

...suppose thats true. I have heard they will not honor warranty unless HONDA installs kit. My warranty exp in like a month anyway. Funny, I got quotes from Honda dealers that varied from 300.00-600.00/labor to install kit. BUT....that kit is prolly one of the best parts/kits you can get (bang for the buck). A true 'night & day' difference. I recommend a Factory Service manual too. Even if you dont do a lot of your own work.

They will not dial in the jetting spot on. They use the parts the jets supplied and go by Honda specs. You can do the same.

It does not void the warranty unless they can prove that the part you put in/on the quad caused whatever failure happened.

man they would no because they can tell but anyways thats what I woul do if you get the HRC kit but I got mine the same day i go the bike so I am breaking it in withe all the parts in it so I raced this one guy with a banshee and I smoked him

due thats why they pay a little xtramany to pay for the other jets if they have to

You aren't listening to what I'm saying. It doesn't matter if you put a little sign in your engine saying that you put the parts in. They can not void your warranty if, for example, your crank goes. If it has nothing to do with the cam, then it doesn't matter that you put the cam in yourself.

All it takes is a little reading and these machines are no problem to work on. My point is simply that you could have saved some money and still "smoked that banshee."

they aren't under warranty long enough to worry about......and its so hard to prove a defect to them anyway......you'll end up replacing it yourself anyway....if people would learn to do their own stuff instead of paying someone else to do it the prices would be so high for things....not just stuff on our bikes...anything in this country.......I do as much as I can possibly do myself and if I don't know how I ask around and learn on my own....

yea what i am saying is that I got a 4 year warrenty so i they said if they no when i do stuff to the engine so then it will void but anywyas never mind about that

He doesn't need to be doing his own work:eek: I called my local dealer about installing the HRC kit and they said $170 and $300 for the HRC kit. It sounds like they riped him off by about $280:D
