Were getting ready to do my brother-in-laws valves on his DVX400 was just wondering if theres any help out there on how to go about doing it. Any surprises or little tricks that may help us? We have no idea what to expect when we open it up, don't know anything about shimming...

honestly its not that hard. before you do anything take out the timing chain tensioner. then of course the vave covers and then the cams. once you get there take the caps off that cover the shims. then you can put bigger or smaller ones of your choice. and owners manuel will help alot. and make sure you have the right tools like a feeler gauge
