sprocket

Does anybody have a stock engine in a 2005 or 6 but runs a 15 tooth front sprocket. I am wondering how it runs with the taller gearing.

i run a 15t sprocket. i love it i didnt notice much of a loss in low end but what i did notice was it made all the gears wider, i find myself shifting way less than with the stock gearing. i highly reccomend you try it and if you dont like it it is only $15. i recently put my stock sprocket back on because i got into mx racing and i was told to run lower gearing but i couldnt do it, i put the 15 back on and i will never go back down again.

I just switched from a 14 tooth to a 15 tooth and I also race MX. The 14 tooth is great for pulling wheelies and riding at the dunes but I like the 15 tooth sprocket better.
