yeah i broke a bolt today that was in my case by my oil filter cover, it took me and my dad about 10 min to get it out and ordered the new bolt and should be ready to go next week.:)

try puting a little oil on the new bolt b4 you but it back in

If & when possible USE A TORQUE WRENCH.

Also if I'm not mistaken that cover has a o-ring gasket on it right? If it does also keep that in mind and just snug the bolt in.

Realistically the only time a little bolt like that will leak is if you hand tighten the bolt..:huh

Sometimes it happens to the best of us, i was puttin mine back on and talking to a friend and i was using a snap-on 11IN 3/8 ratchet. I normally use a 1/4In drive but i was thinking and just got it to tight and snap! Mine wouldent come out so i just tapped the hole and put in a bigger bolt, works good for now.:p
