well i couldnt find any info on the ones for quads but the ones for dirtbikes were $90. i would assume the quad ones are more because it comes with the thumb throttle assembly.

i asked this question over on thumpertalk once and only one guy had any expirence with them and this is what he said:

"Well I broke down and got a Boyesen Shokout grip. Let me give you some history on why; I have been battling Lateral Epicondlitis (tennis elbow) sense January, after I got that controlled with PT, Ice and Advil they found I have a bone spur in the same elbow (left elbow). The shock of riding the bike SOMETIMES would really set it off, I called Boyesen (no one would talk to me about the Shockout grip), but I found out a riding buddy has been using them. I figured $89.95 was less then a new Kidney so I ordered a set.

When I first put them on it felt very strange, but after the first ride I'm very happy to say that I did not notice them at all except that I got NO arm pump and had NO pain after a 3 hour hardcore trail ride in my left elbow. I think I'm putting a set on my 650R for the Vegas to Reno race.

I feel they worked as advertised, the only thing that sucks is you have to buy two sets of grips when you replace them because you need two throttle sides."

I have a set on my 450r right now. They are pretty neat the way they work. They move similar to a twist throttle, back and forth, and have dampners that you can change out for different firmness. They don't move a lot like a twist, but just in that direction. I have ran 3 harescrambles with them so far. I can tell a big difference in them from the vibration. I am going to be talking with Boyesen about the throttle shortly, so I will let you know more about that soon. I also installed a set of Flexx bars the last race, that seems to be the perfect setup, just a little costly. There are only 2 style of grips that are available for them right now, they are both Scott grips. I wil try to post more info if anyone wants to know anything.
